Solar energy and Biomass plant

La Maison de Souhey is committed to preserving the environment and sustainable development, and has therefore opted for clean, comfortable and CO2 neutral heating.
In spring and summer, solar energy is our main source of energy. Biomass provides additional heating and a pleasant temperature during the colder seasons.
For this, our Biomass plant extracts the necessary fuel from forest chips (wood waste from local forestry), nuts, kernls, miscanthus or other biomass. The remaining ash is used as fertilizer in our gardens or fields. This advanced CO2-neutral heating method, using renewable energies, was made possible thanks to the in-depth study of Exergia and with financial aid from the European Union, Region Bourgogne Franche Comté with the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER)
At La Maison de Souhey, smart heating with renewable energy and without pollution.
